Pro Tools HD 8.0.1 for Windows is still in development, and will be posted as soon as possible.We are currently investigating an installation failure with Pro Tools LE and M-Powered 8.0.1 updaters on Japanese and Korean versions of Windows XP. If you attempt to update on these OS versions you may see a “Function Transfer Error/Critical Error” that causes the installation to quit.
This problem does not occur on Windows Vista. Once the issue is resolved we will post new installers. Please Note: The Pro Tools 8.0.1 Updates are only available by download. You will need to use a broadband connection to download the updater for your system.
